     Mushrooms are foods with high nutritional value. Its protein is also superior to many other vegetable proteins. In addition, mushrooms contain virtually no fat or cholesterol. They are rich in vitamins (B1 and C), staple fibres, minerals (calcium, phosphorus), has low sodium text and much potassium (they fight hypertension).      It is necessary to pay attention to aspects such as:
 
- Mushrooms must be picked entire, and the stalk must be cut close to the land so that the mycelium stays in it;
- Prevent destroying the habitat that encircles them;
- It must be left some healthful mushrooms so that it can have reproduction through the displacement of the spores;
- A picked mushroom continues to drop spores. Carrying it in an open-air container helps it distribute spores so the mushroom can reproduce. Carrying mushrooms in a closed container eliminates spore dispersal. Not only that, it often ruins the mushrooms.
- Separate the different species to avoid the exchange of spores, and not to have parasitism between species.
 
 Can we identify between edible and not edible mushrooms?
     To identify mushrooms, it is necessary to have sufficient experience, once exists innumerable species that can be confused. Toxic mushrooms can be fatal, or can provoke food poisonings.
 
 How do mushrooms reproduce?
     Mushrooms reproduce from microscopic, single-celled spores, which give rise to the mycelium - vegetative part of the mushroom. In regard to its constitution, we can say that mushrooms are composed by mycelium, stalk, cap and, sometimes, ring. However, nor all the species present these four parts.

     It must be done with a knife. We should cut the mushroom and leave the mycelium in the land. It must be chosen only the oldest ones because the youngest are improper for consumption. The best form of carrying them is place them in a hamper, so that they always remain aired.
